Damon Schuetze

DAMON SCHUETZE

Damon grew up in Las Vegas and has been pursuing his passion for motorcycles since he was five years old. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1990 and completed his first trial within three months of being sworn in as a lawyer. He began his career employed by a well-respected insurance defense firm before establishing his own law practice in 2003. While performing extensive jury trial assignments Damon earned an AV Rating on Martindale.com, the most distinguished ranking that lawyers can bestow upon one another. Acquiring thorough knowledge of insurance litigation, Damon chose to cease defense operations in order to apply his trial and motorcycle experience to represent injured motorcycle accident victims. His ability to provide the same elite legal capabilities used by insurance agencies has set Damon apart from all other lawyers, in Southern Nevada, focusing on motorcycle injury which gives his clients the advantage when dealing injury cases.

In addition to Damon’s legal experience, he has a thorough understanding of motorcycles and a passion for riding. When not practicing law he can be found improving his own riding skills at a licensed road racer or providing advanced education for motorcyclists at the an elite riding school. Locally, Damon strives to participate in community activities by educating motorcyclists about advanced riding knowledge to reduce motorcycle accidents and improve riding skill levels.

Damon also assists Nevada Legislators via the Motorcycle Critical Emphasis Area Team by providing recommendations regarding motorcycle specific legislative issues. Damon’s experience with motorcycles provides a substantial advantage for clients as he possesses the motorcyclist mentality and comprehends rider issues. These attributes provide the ability to reconstruct motorcycle accidents and communicate those issues to insurance agencies as well as juries with expert precision.

Jennifer L. Ferris

Jennifer L. Ferris

Jennifer L. Ferris is a passionate and intelligent attorney who has dedicated her career to defending individuals accused of and charged with crimes in the Las Vegas area. She is well-versed in criminal law and recognizes the value of taking a strategic yet aggressive approach to secure the best result for every client. From minor theft crimes to violent offenses, Jennifer is committed to the full protection of her clients’ constitutional rights and freedom. She is a firm believer in rehabilitation and believes that people deserve the chance to improve their lives, rather than face extreme penalties.

Jennifer attended the University of Nevada-Reno and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. Upon passing the bar, she began working immediately to help people in her community with their legal needs. Jennifer’s merger with Legal Ride enables the firm to deliver the same high quality rights the firm is known for to criminal cases, Jennifer applies her passion for helping others by alleviating their fear and protecting their best interests in a wide range of criminal matters.

Eva Turner

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Eva Turner graduated from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2002. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2007.

Eva is a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for American Legal History, an award given to the highest scoring student in the class. After graduating law school and passing the Nevada Bar in 2007, Eva was immediately hired by Schuetze & McGaha as an attorney. Eva began her legal career working as an insurance defense and  family law attorney where she developed skills in litigation strategy and negotiation.

Upon realizing her passion was representing accident victims instead of insurance companies, Eva turned her focus solely to personal injury. Since that time, Eva has successfully handled hundreds of cases and obtained multi-million dollar settlements and awards for motorcycle, wrongful death, slip and falls, and car accident victims. She is admitted to practice law before the state and federal courts of Nevada and the United State Court of Appeals.

In her spare time, Eva enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

William 'Bill' McGaha

William “Bill” McGaha has  been a practicing attorney since 1985.  After all this time, Bill still enjoys being a lawyer because of his love of debating evidence and working on legal problems.  Bill graduated college in 1982, law school in 1985, and passed the Bar Examination in Utah in 1985 and passed the Bar Examination in Nevada in 1987.

Unlike most lawyers, Bill has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Nevada, done over 50 jury trials, taken testimony from thousands of witnesses and experts, and done hundreds of arbitrations. Bill’s meticulous attention to detail has achieved spectacular results earning millions of dollars for motorcycle, wrongful death, slip and fall, and car accident victims. It is this unparalleled  experience that is the driving force of every case our firm handles.

Bill  grew up in Kansas city, Missouri and has always been a Chiefs fan. Finally a Super Bowl win!   In his spare time, Bill enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his family and friends.
